Since
its inaugural year, the Coleman Station Bluegrass Festival has
presented the very best in bluegrass music to Western
Pennsylvania. Drawing
attendees from all over the Eastern US and beyond, thousands of people
have enjoyed acoustic & bluegrass music in the idyllic setting
of our picturesque, wooded festival grounds located high atop the
Allegheny
mountains. Over the years the CSBF has featured many nationally (and
internationally) known artists including The Boxcars, Audie Blaylock
&
Redline, The Lost & Found, Nothin’ Fancy, Darrell Webb, Pine
Mountain
Railroad, David Parmley & Continental Divide, and Cliff Waldron
(just to name a few) and our lineups are always rounded out
with the best in local/regional
bluegrass & acoustic music performers. The CSBF also devotes a
portion of it’s stage time to the up &
coming, young performers of tomorrow and it has proved to be a popular
performance slot. In addition to the main stage entertainment, camping
and parking lot pickin’ allows festival
goers an opportunity to relax and enjoy the entire weekend and
participate in impromptu jam sessions, sometimes going until the wee
hours of night. Always held the fourth weekend in July, the 2013 dates
are the 26th
& 27th.
